Dune Stinger Test
So, grabbed a Dune Stinger, dremeled a bit, dyed it black as sort of a base color, then tried out painting it with Testor acryl. I like the paints much better than artists' acrylics. They are very very different. Overall I think this custom is a bit bland, but it was intended as a tool and paint test, so in that sense it was usccessful.
