Hasblo enters new partnership with Takura Ltd.

PAWTUCKET, R.I. --(BUSINESS WIRE)-- May 14, 2005, Hasblo, Inc. (NYSE:HAS) today reported that they will be entering into a cooperative partnership with Takura Holdings (Frankfurt:TAX.F) to share intellectual properties. The proposed partnership is intended to expand current markets through combining past product lines and gaining a greater portion of the adult toy collector market.

The first product to come from this partnership is "Xevonauts". Combining the long history of Takura's line of "My-cromen" and "My-cronauts" with the recently released Hasblow line, "Xevose", this line should appeal to both American and Japanese markets. Although they will be marketed to 13 and up, the companies are expecting the bulk of sales to come from the 25-45 year age group, where other toy lines have seen more growth.

The first toy previewed is the new "Alpha Traveller", which will be sold in an assortment for $6.99 MSRP. "Alpha Traveller" will come with multiple chest plates, 3 pelvises, and a wide variety of accessories. The parts of all Xevonauts are interchangable, and compatible with the previous 5 waves of Xevose. Also previewed today was a sneak peek at a villain "Gene-tros", to be released later.

"Xevose captured our hearts, and our customers' wallets. We think this combined line is going to be a slam dunk", said Bryan Golden, Hasblo's Toy Group president. "All your dollars are belong to us!", he added later at the company beer bash.

The Company undertakes no obligation to do a damn thing about forward-looking statements contained in this release or to update them to reflect events or circumstances occurring after about 15 seconds of reading this press release, sucka.
